Starting the collaborative story
Our story starts with this mountain climber. Don't know who she is or where she is from. But she is determined to complete the climb. However hard it might seem.
Who is she? What is her motivation? What started her on this? Will she finish the climb?

3 年While the world eyes the goal, I view the journey as key. Every step enthralls; every challenge excites; every hurdle invites. I was taught what is destined will happen. Ever since I worry less and venture more. Care for a dare?

3 年Every climb starts with one small step with grit, perseverance, dedication and single minded devotion. Starting at the base of a pyramid, we work our way towards the pinnacle with troughs and abysses as constant companions. The woman in the picture is scaling her own challenges and though sees the shortcuts through dangerous ledges and cliffs, her steadfastness and resolute mind has made all the difference to reach where she is today, breaking the shackles, and winding her way to the top with adversities surrounding her at every level. 3 年Sheila's been climbing since she was a child. She started with the trees in her neighbourhood. Initially as a challenge, as she grew in confidence, she climbed to escape into her own world. She once asked her father how high up the tree she could climb. "As high as you want to, provided you can climb down by yourself" was his wise reply. Those words stayed with her and guided not only her climbing goals as an adolescent, but also her life goals as a young woman. Sheila received no formal training in mountaineering and relied on her observation of others, and the strength of her determination to fuel her climb. She soon graduated to climbing small hillocks and hills outside the city and grew in confidence. It wasn't always to conquer something, and as she grew older she discivered that she sometimes climbed to learn more about herself. Climbing was therapeutic. This climb however, was different. She had to summit soon so she could descend before sunset. But the summit seemed too far to achieve that. Her father's words returned to advise her. Her now older self told her that it was either today or never. With one eye on the summit, a glance to the ground below and both hands on the rope, she paused to consider her options.
