Are Women on Sabbatical eligible to join back CORPORATE world with a salary hike and next level of position in hierarchy?
Even before answering this question i would like to present a story , A story that every girl could relate to. Let me know in the end if you could?
This is a story of one my clients and I am removing the name because of confidentiality btu this is not just her story but story of many women leaders out there.
There was a girl born in a small town. She had loving parents who helped her take her first steps, sent her to school, and watched her grow up into a successful woman in the corporate world.
One day, she received a promotion letter and proudly shared the news with her parents. But to her surprise, her mother handed her an envelope with a picture of a handsome young man who lived in another city where her organization did not have an office.
She was initially conflicted about what to do, but her father suggested that she take a break and spend time with her family. She thought long and hard about this decision, but ultimately she decided to take a sabbatical from work and enjoy her time with her family.
At first, it was wonderful spending time with her loved ones and exploring a new city with her husband. However, as time passed, she began to feel restless and wanted to return to work. She knew that the longer she stayed away, the harder it would be to get back into the corporate world.

So, she started looking for a new job. Despite her enthusiasm, it took her six months to find a job that paid less and was a junior position. It was a tough pill to swallow, and she often felt like giving up. But with the support of her family, she continued to work hard and was eventually promoted once again.
Years later, she became a mother and took another sabbatical. This time, she was excited to spend time with her new family, but as her child grew older, she started to feel the pull back to the corporate world.
She started looking for a job, but this time, it was even harder. She faced rejection after rejection, and it felt like her dream of returning to the corporate world was slipping away. But with the support of her family, she kept going, hoping that she would eventually find the job she was looking for.
Finally, after many long months, she received a job offer. It wasn't at the same level she left years ago, but it was a start. She was excited to get back to work, but at the same time, she was nervous. Would she be able to keep up with the demands of the corporate world? Would she be able to balance her work and her family?
But despite the challenges she faced, she remained hopeful and determined to succeed. And with the support of her family, she knew she could face any challenge that came her way. She worked hard, and eventually, she was promoted once again.
She couldn't help but think about the journey that had brought her to this point. The struggles, the rejections, and the moments of doubt. But she knew that each of these experiences had helped shape her into the strong, resilient woman she was today.
And as she held her promotion letter in her hands, she couldn't help but feel grateful for the love and support of her family, who had been with her every step of the way.
