Starting 2023 with an exciting change!

Happy New Year!?

I hope you had a restful festive break and are ready to kick-start 2023 with a bang. December has been a busy month between the festivities, reflecting on the past year and planning for the year ahead. I have so much installed for you that I can’t wait to share!?

Some of you might have noticed a gradual shift in my focus from career advancement to corporate culture and leadership. Over the past 20 months of starting my business and brand, my vision has grown larger. I want to achieve a greater impact from just affecting individual change to include systemic change too.?

The successes I have helped my clients achieve made me realise that to support individuals to thrive in the workplace, I also need to work with corporates to change how they look at their culture and develop their leaders.?

It will involve working with senior executives to build a thriving culture that balances high performance, well-being and employee satisfaction and develop human-centred leaders. You will see a slight change in my messaging and content, directing it at how individuals can affect change for themselves, as well as, how corporates can affect systemic change.?

With that, this newsletter has also been rebranded. It is now named ‘The Culture Collective’, where I share weekly bite-sized insights to help you build a thriving high-performance culture at work.

It’s time to rethink the way you develop your leaders, scale your business impact and foster a truly inclusive environment where performance and humanness are valued in equal parts.

To kick things off, I’m sharing a time-tested freebie on how you can improve belonging and have more authentic and meaningful conversations with your team.?

It’s called Manual of Me & MyTeam.?

This is a simple yet powerful way to communicate with others on how to best work with you and, as a collective, how to best work as a team. These are all the things that need to be true for you and your team to maximise collective potential and thrive in the workplace.?

It helps unlock conversations you never thought possible or might find awkward to start. More importantly, it is a safe and easy way to discuss differences and strengthen your relationships with each other.?

I first started using this when I was still at Deloitte Consulting and I’ve adapted my own version to use with my clients in our leadership coaching programmes. This is a fun and engaging way to address meaningful topics with your team without spending a lot of money.
