It Started In The Kitchen...

It Started In The Kitchen...

A forgotten pot. A little time. It started in the kitchen, but that was only the beginning. The fire damaged the range, microwave and the cabinets. The real damage was done by smoke.

Smoke is acidic and pervasive. It will move through the home and eventually reach the HVAC intake and then spread into everything.

In the kitchen, we just had to remove and replace all of the cabinets and counter tops, replace the range and microwave and paint everything.

Outside the kitchen, we had to clean EVERYTHING.

Take a moment and consider your home. In your mind, walk through every room, every article of clothing, every piece of furniture, every dish, glass, sundry item, the collected goods of a lifetime.

Every wall to be repainted, all the base and trim to be repainted, all of the duct system to be cleaned, the HVAC system to be cleaned. Anything that couldn't be cleaned had to be replaced.
