Start Your Profitable Business

Start Your Profitable Business

Dear High Performer,

Great opportunities never have 'great opportunity' in the subject line. ?

Neo: I know you’re out there.

Neo: I can feel you now.

Neo: I know that you’re afraid… afraid of us.

Neo: You’re afraid of change.

Neo: I don’t know the future.

Neo: I didn’t come here to tell how this is going to end.

Neo: I came here to tell you how it’s going to begin.

Neo: I’m going to hang up this phone, and then show these people what you don’t want them to see.

Neo: I’m going to show them a world without you.

Neo: A world without rules or controls, borders or boundaries.

Neo: A world where anything is possible.

Neo: Where we go from there is a choice I leave to you. – The Matrix. ?

One of the ways to build wealth and live your rich life is by having your own business.

The world of business is the world of endless possibilities.

A world without borders and boundaries.

A world of great opportunities.

People know this yet they never do anything about it.

I believe one of the reasons is because,

“Great opportunities never have ‘great opportunity’ in the subject line.” – Scott Belsky

If the opportunity was obvious to everyone,

Everyone would do it.

Most people are looking for and only want to be part of something that is working and established already.

They forget that today’s great establishment was once yesterday’s great opportunity that looked nothing of the sort.

More often than not, great opportunities look unattractive on the surface.

In fact, the best opportunities may not even catch your attention at first.

This is because eyes that look are common,

But eyes that truly see are few. It takes vision, it takes understanding to see the great opportunity that lies beyond the surface of that seemingly ordinary thing.

That thing that looks like a wild and ridiculous joke now. ?

IT ALL STARTS WITH AN IDEA

Everything that exists today started as an idea in somebody’s mind.

Including Apple, one of the most valuable companies in the world today,

Started as an idea.

Those images that flash across your mind are real...

And powerful and you need to start paying closer attention to them.

My goal here is to give you a wake-up call.’

Not only a wake-up call but a Call To Action.

Specifically I will give you my C.T.A system to turning your ideas into a profitable business. ? ?

Come Up With the Idea

To build your profitable business you need to come up with a profitable business idea.

To find your profitable business idea you need to come up with as many ideas you can.

You don’t need one idea.

You need a lot of ideas.

So cast a wide business idea net.

It’s called the 20-idea principle.

And it states that, ‘if you can’t generate 10 ideas, generate 20.’

‘What if you just can’t come up with 10 ideas?

Here’s the magic trick:

If you can’t come up with 10 ideas, come up with 20 ideas…

You are putting too much pressure on yourself.

Perfectionism is the enemy of the idea muscle…

It’s your brain trying to protect you harm,

From coming up with an idea that is embarrassing and stupid...

And could cause you to suffer pain.’ – James Altucher.

So cast a wide business idea net.

Don’t be rigid.

Be fluid.

You don’t have to commit to any idea for the rest of your life.

There’s not going to any news headline on CNN about you coming up with a stupid idea.

Most of the time people won’t pay attention or remember a person who came up with an idea that didn’t work.

People are celebrated for coming up with the ideas that do work.

So come up with those ideas.

3 questions to guide you as you come up with your 20 ideas: ?

  • What do I love?
  • What am I good at?
  • What skills do I have?

Right now as you are reading this, you have things you love, stuff you’re good at and you have certain skills.

That means you don’t have to wait to build your profitable business.

You can do it now if only you will give yourself the permission to.

All those thoughts about not having a registered company name, website...

Office, laptop, the latest iPhone, a large social media following or capital…

They are stories you have told yourself that have held you back from taking your life to the next level.

How much capital do you need to generate 20 ideas?

Zero.

Stop trying to put the cart before the horse.

There’s a system to building a profitable business.

And it starts by putting first things first. ? ?

Test Your Idea

The reason you need to come up with as many ideas as you can is because...

The person with one idea usually ends up being sentimental about their idea.

They find it hard to let go even when it’s obvious it’s not profitable.

This is why it is very important to test your idea.

There are three ways to test your idea for profitability:

The Pay Test

The Pay Test involves asking two questions.

The people you want to serve, do they have the ability to pay for your service or product?

Do they have the willingness to pay?

Rule number 1 in business – your audience should have money.

For example, as a personal stylist, who do you want to serve?

Retirees?

While retirees have the ability to pay for such a service,

Their willingness to pay is a different ball game because such a service isn’t a priority to them.

What about college students?

No matter how passionate you are about impacting college students,

The truth is, they can’t and are not willing to pay for your services.

What about Mid to Senior level company executives?

Do they have the ability and willingness to pay?

Yes and yes.

Because their looks matter to them and they would rather get a professional to do it,

Instead of trying to figure it out on their own by watching YouTube videos.

To find our profitable idea we need to keep in mind that it’s not about what we want to sell,

It’s about what the customer wants to buy.

Find the people who have a problem and want to spend money to solve this problem.

If we will be sincere sometimes we come up with ideas...

That we aren’t willing to pay for if the tables were turned.

And then we insult people for been too shallow to see how valuable our idea is.

Just because we love the idea and we are good at it doesn’t mean people want to pay for it.

Don’t be ‘me-focused’ in coming out with your profitable idea.

What are the services you pay for?

What are those very urgent problems you are currently dealing with?

Other people have similar problems too and will pay you to know you resolved it. ?

The Demand Matrix Test

The demand matrix consists of the high end, golden goose, labor of love and the mass market spaces.

High End: This kind of idea can be high price but usually has few customers.

Example - providing copy-writing services.

Golden Goose: This is the high price, many customers idea space.

Example – providing fitness or business coaching.

Labor of Love: Ideas that are low price, few customers.

Example – An online course teaching people how to iron shirts.

Mass Market: Ideas that are low price, many customers.

Example – teaching productivity and time management tips and skills.

This is an effective way to test your idea and based on your rich-life vision and your desire to build wealth,

You can determine for yourself which of your ideas is worth pursuing. ?

The Love Test

The ultimate test for coming up with your profitable idea is the Love Test.

Fall in love with the people you want to serve.

If you love people you will want what’s best for them.

If you love people you will want to see their lives transformed.

If you love people you will see them not as they are but as they could be.

And you will want to come up with products and services that will actually get them from here to there,

And not just coming up with placebos that waste people’s time. ?

?

Act on Your Idea

Once you have tested your ideas and you’ve settled on your profitable idea,

The next thing is to put your idea out there.

Start talking to people about the idea and get people to pay.

Don’t get stuck on fancy titles for yourself or cool names for your company or social media handle.

Getting a website, having a fancy logo, or having a professionally edited video…

Those things are great, but what’s really important is for the money to start coming in.

Find the idea and get people to pay.

Getting paying clients is what matters.

Most times people are in need because they don’t know what they need.

They don’t make real progress because they are doing a lot of busy work instead of work that matters.

What you need is a simple medium to deliver your product or service and a means to receive money.

Once you have that in place, just go.

Every other thing is just side dressing.

If you need too much money to start, you have complicated your idea.

You need to strip it down, simplify, and grow from there.

It’s interesting how we have a business idea but we can go weeks without talking to anyone about the idea.

Every week we need to talk to at least 2 people about our idea – product or service.

The best way to do this is to get someone to hold you accountable.

Someone who you have weekly check-ins with.

A weekly check-in which entails –

How many people you talked to about your idea this week?

How many positive responses you got?

What did you try that didn’t work?

What are you going to improve on next week?

It’s important to have a dedicated time every day that you devote to your business.

It’s not necessarily about the length at the beginning but that you are consistent.

That you make sure you do it daily.

If you can’t find 40 minutes to 1 hour to dedicate to your business every day at least 5 times a week,

Then it’s not a priority to you.

If it’s not a priority to you,

You won’t get the rewards out of it.

Whatever you respect, you attract. ?

RESCUE THE PERISHING

Rescue the perishing; don’t hesitate to step in and help.

If you say, ‘Hey, that’s none of my business,’ will that get you off the hook?

Someone is watching you closely, you know –

Someone not impressed with weak excuses*. ?

I believe the reason most people struggle with this thing called business is because...

We make it all about survival versus solving problems.

Whether you realize it or not, you are in business already.

You were put on this earth for a reason.

You were created to solve a specific problem for certain people.

That reason, that problem you were created to solve, is your business.

There are certain discoveries you have made on your life’s journey.

Sharing those discoveries with other people is your business.

The reason we feel stuck and short of ideas of what to do is because we are focused on just ourselves.

We are ingrown.

It’s time to shift the focus from ourselves to others.

The truth is the opportunities are out there.

The harvest is plenteous but the laborers are few.

The opportunities will only open up for laborers.

The opportunities are available for the people willing to take the responsibility to rescue others.

You can be the person who rescues other people’s businesses, careers, relationships, families, health, spirituality, education or lifestyle.

Right now you don’t look like it.

Right now you don’t feel qualified.

Right now you need rescuing not to talk of rescuing others.

The truth is, that’s not real you.

The real you is more capable than you think.

The real you can start and build your own profitable business.

Just follow the C.T.A system.

Come up with the idea.

Test your idea.

And act on the idea.

YOUR GREATNESS IS VERY SURE.
