Start-Up Charged 7.9% (no kidding...)

OK, I cannot make that up. 7.9%. (Pronounced what-the-heck?!?)

There is an amazing number of things I would pay 7.9% for, but they all involve extortion. Really. Our CEO, Will Black, has been in the payments industry for 22 years, and it takes a bit to shock him. Generally, when we see something like this, it's a shared thing in the office. The last one like this, our CFO and Co-founder, Mike Torrance, walked down the hall to show Will, and he simply said, "That?can't?be right..."

This one, he had a little heads up to. A businesswoman he works with brought a family member to him whose numbers she was pretty sure were through the roof. They were through the roof, past the skyline and trying to break through the stratosphere.

It wasn't a huge client, and they might do $14k a month, but to them it was important. That makes it important to us.?We have a simple rule, you don't have to use us, but don't do these key things that will burn you and your business badly.?We show them good rates and bad rates, so that they can more easily discern in the future.

For this company, the difference would be the $1,106 a month they spend in fees now, or the $280 a month they should be paying. It's only a savings of more than $9,000 a year, not to mention what using our Sharing the Credit system would put into their charity, as well.
