The start of something beautiful

It is almost one month ago when I started with the ATPM track. Something which I looked forward to for years. Was it worth all the effort and anticipation? YES, every small bit of it. In this month I learned to know so many new people, new things, new theme park facts, new values and new skills. More then I would ever expected in such a short period. It first started off with our visit to Phantasialand where they not only showed us some marketing skills and the park itself but also how hospitality should be done. It was an honor to be treated this well by a theme park which is an al time favorite of mine.

Talking about all time favorites, we got the opportunity to provide feedback for the Efteling. The Efteling being the park where it all started for me. So when Coen Bertens stood in front of me giving an presentation and after this walking and talking with us you might get why this was something that blew my mind.

Another amazing experience was our visit to the European Attractions Show (EAS) in Amsterdam and well... words are not able to describe how this event felt to me. All I can say is thank you so much to anyone that freed up their time to talk to us, second year students. You have inspired and motivated us all. I have personally learned so many new things. Things which only make me more enthusiastic about the future that lays past the horizon.

It was an amazing months and I cannot wait what all other months will bring me. However, I know I choose the right path and know I want to be part of this amazing industry or even better this amazing family.
