Start From Where You Are!

Dear Stellar,

Welcome to another edition of "The Polished Stellar" newsletter. Today we will be talking about "starting from where you are".

Many people have been given excuses and reasons for not pursuing their dreams. Trust me when I say this reason may be very valid. Starting anything requires willpower, consistency, resources and enough mental stability to build it.

Here is a charge for you, so I encourage you to stay with me to the very end.

I know you have held words like "I am a Creator" and sometimes you might ask yourself how that relates to you taking the bold step and start.

Here is why.

God created the word in 7days, which implies that God has four(4) characterise, they are

1. He is a Creator
2. He starts a process
3. He sustains the process
4. He finishes the process

His word also tells us in Genesis 1:27 (So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.) and Colossians 1:16 (For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.)

The above scripture emphasises the fact that we are like God and we are born of God. If we are born of God we also have the power to start a thing, sustain it and finish it with the help of God.

Don't let fear or money stop you from starting. Start with what you have from where you are. I was always concerned about, how people talked or viewed me. Their opinions always counted and it lead me to hide all I could give back to my world. I limited myself until 2017 when I officially took the bold step and launched out into the deep without checking the limiting forces around me trying to stop me.

I have learnt some things in my growth process which is a never-ending process.

1. At whatever level you are start there, but make sure to do things well.
2. Excellence in things is very important for long term reliability
3. Go for skill: Learn, unlearn and relearn. Always have the level up continuously mindset
4. Be consistent and start in the process.
5. Understand times and seasons.
6. Be strategic with the process, know when to start, pause or stop.
7. Be humble and kind. Be a good listener and have a teachable spirit.
8. Learn the art of people and building a tribe around it.
9. Most importantly, read His words daily, trust God and stay in touch with the Holyspirit.

Starting a thing is all up to the individual or organization. You have to recognize it, pursue it, push past the difficult period, start it , grow it, bring people it and repeat.

Now it's your turn to start that dream in your heart be it a job, business, music, movie, podcast or whatever it is. You are already equipped for it.

You are enough, you are made for more, you smell like the field the Lord has blessed.
