What is a Mission Statement?
A mission statement is used by a company to explain, in simple and concise terms, its purpose(s) for being. The statement is generally short, either a single sentence or a short paragraph.

Commonly Confused words
Than vs. Then
Than is used for comparisons: Posey runs faster than Chester.
Then is used to indicate time or sequence: Posey took off running, and then Chester came along and finished her breakfast.
To vs. Too
To is a preposition that can indicate direction: Posey walked to school. She said hello to Chester when she saw him. To is also used in the infinitive form of verbs: Chester waited until the last minute to do his homework.
Too is used as an intensifier, and also means “also”: Posey waited too long to do her homework, too.?dangerous, etc.," as in "a writer whose new novel pushes the envelope."

What is the ICFE exam?
The International Certificate in Financial English (also referred to as the ICFE exam or Cambridge English: Financial) is a high-level assessment of English language proficiency. The exam aims to certify that candidates have a strong command of English in both everyday situations and in various accounting and financial contexts. The ICFE exam is primarily designed for individuals with a background in finance or accounting who want to further their education in an English language environment. Aside from being a general purpose proficiency exam, successful applicants must meet certain requirements such as having a B2 level of English on the Council of Europe's Common European Framework of Reference. While the ICFE does not specifically assess finance or accounting knowledge, it does evaluate a candidate's proficiency in understanding English within professional contexts relevant to their career.
