Stars
In a deepfield image taken by the Hubble telescope of an area of an otherwise(to the naked eye) blank night sky, ( the size of which would be covered by a 5 pence piece held 20m away) 10,000 points of light are revealed. Each of these 10,000 points of light turns out to be a galaxy! The average galaxy has one hundred thousand million stars, of which our own sun, is but an average example.
