Montreal, September 13, 2016 – The 2016 Just For Laughs Comedy Tourpresented by WestJet starring Dane Cook launches tonight in London, Ontario.  The JFL Tour will see Dane Cook, and his friends Vinny Fasline and John Campanelli, play in prestigious theatres and intimate arenas in Canada from Ontario to British Columbia beginning November 2 in London, Ontario and wrapping up in Vancouver, British Columbia on November 19. 

About Dane Cook He sells tickets: Dane is one of the biggest ticket-sellers in the history of comedy. In 2013, Dane returned to the Montreal stage to host an absolutely explosive, opening night, sold out Gala at the Just For Laughs Festival. He has sold out numerous arenas and theaters throughout his illustrious career including Madison Square Garden where he sold out two shows in one night!  He’s a record breaker: Dane has released eight comedy albums/specials and in 2006, his special Retaliation became the highest charting comedy album in 28 years, earning him a place alongside best-selling comedy vets George Carlin and Steve Martin. He’s on TV and in the movies: Dane has guest starred in popular TV shows like Louie opposite Louis CK and Workaholics on The Comedy Network. Some of his other film credits include starring roles in My Best Friends’ Girl opposite Kate Hudson, Dan In Real Life opposite Steve Carrell and Mr. Brooks opposite Kevin Costner. The kids love him: Dane recently reprised his role as the voice of “Dusty” in Disney’s animated film Planes: Fire & Rescue, the sequel to Planes, which grossed over $219 million. What’s Next:  American Gods, Bryan Fuller’s TV adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s classic novel where Dane will play best friend Robbie. About Dane’s friends Vinny Fasline He knows how to look on the bright side of life: After being diagnosed with a brain tumor and having surgery in 2000, Vinny found an outlet for his experiences through stand-up. He’s socially awkward: In 2013, he started the live stand-up comedy show “Socially Awkward” that is now featured monthly at the famous Hollywood Improv Comedy Club and has featured some of the biggest names in comedy.

John Campanelli He’s got something for everyone: LAFT Magazine called John a “A comedian for the people.” He’s got comedy specials: His debut comedy album Nervous, recorded at NYC’s The Stand Comedy Club, was highly regarded and he has recently released his second comedy album New Phone, Who is This? which was ranked #1 for New Comedy Releases during its opening weekend.
