Starbucks and the Town of Berlin celebrated the opening of the Starbucks in Berlin at 1041 Farmington Avenue in Berlin with an official ribbon cutting with their Connecticut team in attendance. It was a beautiful day and traffic was swift to the store, but not overwhelming.
Owned and managed by Colvest, based out of Springfield, Mass, the property has gotten a major facelift with Starbucks opening with an expected opening date of around October 15th for Jersey Mike's in the same building.
"This is wonderful thing for Berlin and its residents to have Starbucks come back to us after many years and open a store here", said Mayor Mark Kaczynski.
The Farmington Avenue corridor has seen incredible growth as a number of small businesses have located there, or expanded there since September of 2020!
