In honor of World Mental Health Day, I hosted a breakfast at our Citywire USA offices to foster an open dialogue about improving mental health in the workplace. By introducing a suggestion box and facilitating small group discussions, we created a safe space for candid conversations, allowing colleagues to share their perspectives and what mental health means to them. Mental health awareness is a cause close to my heart. I am on the Mental Health Committee at Citywire, I am an avid therapy-goer, I am married to a therapist AND my Mum is a therapist! As leaders, it’s crucial to continue these conversations to break the stigma surrounding mental health.
