Stanford University Researchers Released their Analyses from Citation Data on Top 8 Million Scientists!
Please is the message I received from them. I have not figured out what you can do with this data from Stanford University.
Seems like their data sets (of 100,000 top-cited scientists across all disciplines) can be valuable for those who like to mine and share some trends in special discipline or country!!!
Happy mining of 100,000 top-cited scientists across all disciplines!
Please share if you find some insights.

Dear colleagues and friends
Warm congratulations on being among the most-cited authors in your discipline. We have created an update of our analyses from citation data on all 8 million scientists who have published at least 5 papers in their career. Detailed data on multiple citation indicators with and without self-citations for the 100,000 top-cited scientists across all disciplines and also for the top-cited 2% of scientists in each of 174 different subfield disciplines are available for open use in https://dx.doi.org/10.17632/btchxktzyw in Mendeley. The update has been published in PLoS Biology this week (https://journals.plos.org/plosbiology/article?id=10.1371/journal.pbio.3000918).
We have tried to make improvements and enhancements on the datasets based on feedback received on the previous iteration of these analyses that we had published in PLoS Biology last year. If you receive this e-mail, it means that your citation indicators are at the very top values, i.e. in a very small select subset of the already select database of the top-cited scientists.
With best wishes for continued success
