CEASE FIRE NOW

In a statement with ACT Alliance EU, CIDSE calls for an immediate cessation of all hostilities and the protection of civilians in the occupied Palestinian territory and Israel, and joins the many voices calling for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and Israel.

LAUDATE DEUM

CIDSE celebrated the release of Pope Francis' latest apostolic exhortation in a joint press release with the European Laudato Si' Alliance (ELSiA).

Resisting mining & extractivism

A CIDSE delegation participated in the second edition of the Thematic Social Forum (TSF) on Mining and the Extractive Economy in Semarang, Indonesia.

Loss and Damage

Caritas Internationalis, SCIAF, CIDSE and the Laudato Si’ Movement issued a statement for leaders of all faiths around the world to show support for action on Loss and Damage.

2nd LA caravan for integral ecology

Five young people from Latin America travelled to Europe to denounce the consequences of extractivism & mining in their countries.

Mozambique speakers' tour

A delegation from Mozambique is touring Europe to denounce extractivism and corporate abuse in the province of Cabo Delgado in northern Mozambique. ?

Coalition on critical raw materials

A new civil society coalition of over 40 organisations, including CIDSE, has been launched to advocate for sustainable and just raw material policies.

More than 200 faith leaders joined the call for a strong EU law ahead of the EU trilogue negotiations on the Corporate Sustainable Due Diligence Directive proposal.

SCIAF, CIDSE Scottish member organisation, has released a new documentary showing why Loss and Damage is key in the fight for climate justice. It follows the lives of people in southern Malawi who are recovering from the losses and damages caused by the climate crisis.
