**Welcome Back to HerWealthyClub!
No more relying on finding a wealthy partner for financial stability. It's time to pave our own paths to a prosperous life!
Imagine yourself stepping into your own financial “hall of fame,” a place where your achievements shine brightly and your unique money mindset guides your way. Inspired by the song "Hall of Fame" by The Script, let's celebrate the journey to financial empowerment on our own terms.
Positive thinking is free—it doesn't require any entrance fee. Adopting an abundance mindset is one of the few things this world offers us at no cost! But what exactly is stopping us?
Our experiences shape our behaviors and beliefs about money. You may think that financial success is all about skills and knowledge, but let me tell you, it's more about psychology. The 80/20 rule applies here too: 20% of your actions will account for 80% of your outcomes. It's 80% mindset and 20% techniques or skills.
Marie Forleo shares (watch the youtube section) how her parents' divorce and their conflicts over money made her believe that money could break families and love. Her mother's advice to "never let a man control your money" stemmed from a painful experience, shaping Marie's belief that lack of money leads to loss of love and family destruction. She shared those insights in a private zoom call where I could ask her questions around money and her own enrooted believes. You can watch it on HerWealthyClub instagram account post herwealthyclub

Ken Honda’s Money Types
Understanding our money mindset is crucial. Ken Honda, author of "Happy Money," identifies several money types that shape our financial behavior:
- The Saver: Finds joy in saving and security in accumulated wealth.
- The Spender: Sees money as a means to enjoy life and create experiences.
- The Moneymaker: Focuses on generating wealth and financial growth.
- The Indifferent: Views money as unimportant and prefers to focus on other aspects of life.
Recognizing which type you resonate with allows you to harness your strengths and address any limiting beliefs.
John Assaraf’s Key Money Messages
John Assaraf emphasizes the importance of mindset in achieving financial success. I have the honour of being coached as part of his alumni programme “100 Days to Financial success”. His key messages include:
- Visualization: Envision your financial goals clearly to manifest them into reality.
- Affirmations: Use positive affirmations to reprogram your subconscious mind for financial success.
- Goal Setting: Set specific, measurable, and attainable financial goals to guide your journey.
Marisa Peer’s Insights
Marisa Peer, a renowned therapist, teaches that self-worth is crucial for financial success. Her insights include:
- Belief in Worthiness: Cultivate a strong sense of self-worth to attract wealth and opportunities.
- Overcoming Limiting Beliefs: Identify and break free from limiting beliefs that hinder your financial progress.
- Positive Self-talk: Practice positive self-talk to reinforce a prosperous mindset.
Key Findings from "The Psychology of Money"
Morgan Housel’s "The Psychology of Money" provides profound insights into how people think about and handle money. Key findings include:
- Behavior Over Knowledge: Financial success is more about how you behave than how much you know.
- Emotional Influence: Emotions, rather than rational calculations, often drive financial decisions.
- Long-Term Perspective: Patience and long-term thinking are crucial for building wealth.
- Flexibility and Adaptability: Being able to adapt to financial changes and unexpected events is vital.
Your Journey to the Hall of Fame
Embrace your unique financial path and allow yourself to succeed on your terms. Whether you’re a saver, spender, moneymaker, or indifferent, you have the power to redefine your relationship with money and step confidently into your financial hall of fame.
Take the test and identify your money type! I confess that I exhibit traits of several types. For instance, the more I earned, the more I spent. I had to confront a lot of personal money drama to break free from limiting beliefs.
In upcoming newsletters, we’ll explore budgeting for a happy money journey. Remember, budgeting is only 20% of the journey. The other 80% involves acknowledging your money mindset and transforming into a new version of yourself.
