Standing Fearless

Philippians 1:14 “And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.”
If you are in leadership then it should be obvious that other people are watching where you walk and how you live!
Paul was one of the greatest leaders in history and when these words were written he was “in chains” bound and restricted yet “many of the brothers and sisters” in the faith became fearless. It wasn’t the metal chains that made them fearless. It was the conduct of the man who had his eyes on Jesus NO MATTER what!
How are you and I handling our adversity today? Paul had physical chains but ours may be discouragement-failure-health issues etc,,,I confess that lately there would be few who could watch me and become emboldened or fearless. They most likely would become evasive.
Lets remember that we have a God that beat death and He is our leader. If we follow the Master and love like He loved then no matter who is watching - fear will not be standing in their way to follow likewise. “Perfect love cast out fear!”
