“Standards in the Southeast Asian Food Trade”, SAFT-GIZ Project!
The Public Private Dialogue held in Manila on February 28, was the conclusion of a series of events and activities under the GIZ project “Standards in the Southeast Asian Food Trade” (SAFT). Since 2014, this endeavor has been a powerful tool to promote awareness and further acceptance and acknowledgment from both public and private players, about the benefits and advantages being brought by the adoption and implementation of GAP and Organic Standards in the Fruits and Vegetable sectors in Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar and Indonesia.
I'm already looking forward to seeing the outcomes that will be achieved in the short and medium term by both private and public stakeholders!
