Matthew Chiles
Educational Development @ BSI | Creator and co-host of The Standards Show
The aim of the #StandardsPartnershipProgramme is to enhance trade and boost sustainable and inclusive growth in developing economies through the use of international standards. Led by è‹±å›½æ ‡å‡†å会 , in collaboration with the UK Government, it's being delivered in 11 countries and island regions.
The programme builds on the success of a pilot delivered in Ghana, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda last year by BSI, in partnership with other country NSBs. It also builds on the achievements of the Commonwealth Standards Network, established in 2018.
#TheStandardsShow spoke to BSI's Charles Davies about what drove the development of the #StandardsPartnershipProgramme, how it operates, and some of its success so far in enhancing trade for the countries and island nations involved.
