Day 3 Wednesday 8th March - Meet Ruth Kaima , Operations Supervisor, Harness Energy, PNG.

The PNG workplace has traditionally had strong male representation, however in recent years female representation is growing and this requires confident and strong women to spearhead this cultural change, which improves PNG workplaces by leveraging off the wealth of experience and knowledge that women can bring to enhance the growth of PNG businesses.

From strong foundation of working in the logistics and freight handling industry in PNG, Ruth has demonstrated an ability to excel in complex and dynamic environments and she brings this wealth of experience to managing Harness operations in PNG.

Since joining Harness in 2016 Ruth has engendered the respect of her work colleagues through her ability to manage the complex demands of the role, along with a strong customer service ethos that gives Harness an unrivalled reputation in PNG.?

Part of Ruth’s secret to success in this role is having a supportive husband and family to help balance the competing demands of work life and personal life. Ruth takes justifiable pride in the significant contribution she has made to the growth and success of Harness in PNG and her philosophy is that “the capabilities that any person can bring to the job is more important than?their gender".
