Hundreds of civilians have now been killed and thousands more injured as heavy fighting continues throughout residential areas. Hospitals are surrounded and quickly depleting supplies, preventing the injured from accessing desperately needed medical care. There is an urgent need for medical supplies, fuel and food to hospitals, as well as food, water, cash assistance and psychosocial support.
