I am a Coach, whereby I feel one's unique character can add value to the profession.? However, competition is fierce within the coaching industry. ?Plus, the environment is divided into main and subcategories of coaching. My specialist areas are nutrition, movement, emotional and mental wellbeing. Again, there are many others also working in this space.

Adding value is something that I am sure you’re seeking to do.? In the case of the Nutrition & Lifestyle Hub,? as I develop the online community.? I am setting out to make a difference through my personal story. So I am naturally bringing elements of my personality (shaped by my life experience) into the mix in terms of the programme we deliver. Dance and music are big parts of my life and have always shaped who I am. So these elements have been woven into our service offer, which is a way of doing coaching in a different style.

However, I am also researching what’s working in other successful online communities.? This includes seeking advice from our community site developers at Six Circles . As a decision maker, expanding your knowledge is good for business development, customer retention and overall growth.

Making a note of what works

Why is this important?? In terms of market research, I hope you'd agree it is important for all businesses.? I have a background in market research and community development. So, I am interested in studying the best ways to build online communities. Along the way I am discovering what’s working elsewhere.? I am also finding out what to ignore as it may not be a good fit for our community or align with my personal values.

Growing our online community to over 1,000 women is one of my long-term goals.? At this stage I have no idea of the timescale it will take to reach this goal. Rome wasn't built in a day. I am planning to scale our operations strategically over time.?? Working with members of my family and other experts is part of the strategy.?? Once we have reached our goals my intention is to grow the Nutrition & Lifestyle Hub to size where our company can employ others.
