In 2013 I was nominated for a Calgary Stampede Legacy Award, primarily because I’ve raised hundreds of thousands of dollars by donating my art to various charities and establishing the Paul Van Ginkel Native Art Scholarship (that will be another instalment). I didn’t win, however, the recognition was an incredible honour.

I have also been a Stampede Sponsor for over 10 years.

Due to the cancellation of the Calgary Stampede I’m unable to stage my 18th exhibition (I had a double booth), however, you can still view (and purchase) my paintings at www.PaulVanGinkel.com.
