What's Changing

New SEO Tactic! See Organic Search Keywords on Your Site

Years ago, Google greatly reduced our ability to see up to 80% of the queries users entered in search to find our sites. There were third-party tools that said they could help, which required a license.

Today, using Google’s Looker Studio, Stamats helps clients access more search term data than they can in either GA4 or Search Console alone.

LinkedIn Changes

LinkedIn Ads has updated their conversion tracking offering to include website actions. This change might allow LinkedIn advertisers to stop relying on page URLs to track conversions.

LinkedIn also made big changes to Document ads useful to LinkedIn advertisers that create one-sheeters on their product offering. You can now retarget those who have previously interacted with your document ad and opt into the LinkedIn Advertising Network to expand the reach of your document ad.

LinkedIn plans to sunset lookalike audiences in Campaign Manager at the end of February. This means that advertisers will no longer be able to create new lookalike audiences and existing lookalike audiences will no longer be updated. You can continue to use existing lookalike audiences in campaigns, but since they are not continuously updated, they will become stale in the future.

Increase Enrollment by Finding Lost Applicants

Applicants go through three general phases in the application process:

  1. Application started but not submitted
  2. Application is submitted but admission file is incomplete
  3. Decision is made but new student has not registered

Within each of these phases, data gaps are often created by technology errors and human oversight. The digital application portal can become a black hole if user-submitted data are not tracked from step to step, interfering with follow-up communications that should be aligned with that data.
