The Stage is Yours

Each one of us has a desire to be something which we are not currently (or in the process of becoming). As long as we are committed to the tasks assigned to us at the workplace, receiving feedback that makes us happy and content, we are in the flow. There is no pressure or obstacle felt, and hence there is not enough push from within to take a leap away from the crowd, be at the 'stage' where you are no more in your comfort zone but in the spotlight of the world where you are tested for your potential and capabilities. Many people feel overwhelmed or lack confidence and leave the stage, and go back to the normal flow of life where they feel protected, safe and secured.

To excel and stand out from the crowd, you need to be aware of the opportunities life is throwing at you. You need to be aware at all times that the spotlight is on you and to outshine you need to believe "The Stage is Yours" and perform like you never did before!

Let go of the fear of judgement, know your strengths and play your part to the best of your potential.

Use the performance pressure or nervousness (whatever you like to term that) as your first step. It is there in you because you are going to do something BIG.

Do not shy away from recognition or criticism, accept wholeheartedly because all of this makes you move towards becoming your better self.

Show up at all the places you are required and, perform. This will be the differentiator; you will realize soon.

Acknowledge the support of others in giving you the stage to perform, and have a sense of gratitude.

Last but not the least, never give up and remember it is nobody but YOU who can make your story a success or a failure...because "The Stage is Yours"
