Staff Spotlight Series - Chantal Lowe

Chantal Lowe, our esteemed Technical Educator, has been recognised with the 2024 Educator of the Year Award. We recently had the opportunity to sit down with her to discuss her journey and what inspires her throughout her time with NAK Hair.

Tell us more about your role and what you do.

I have worked with NAK Hair for 18 months and in that time have been fortunate enough to visit and help salons within NSW.

As a Technical Educator we are a main point of contact for salons when they need help or to be inspired. We quickly need to build a relationship with Salon staff in order to earn their trust, from there we often plan the training around their needs.

From demonstrations, to installs, collective visits, and full day workshops, each of these points of contact allow us the opportunity to empower hairdressers the chance to be more confident with NAK products and up and coming trends.

What inspires you about coming to work at NAK Hair?

I love everything about Colour, I get inspiration from all the salons I walk into, the thrill of seeing Salon staff excited and confident about what they can achieve.

What is an achievement that you're proud of since working here?

Running workshops & having the attendees come up at a the end of the day to share what skill they have learnt or that they feel more confident with colour selection.
