Briefly describe your role with the Outreach team:

I support both internal and external communication strategies and activities. This includes coordinating and executing in-person and online events like the CVP Leadership Retreat, supporting dissemination of information about research, education and programming to key audiences through print and digital collateral, supporting public relations activities and creating newsletters, and more.

What do you find most fulfilling about your job?

I’m inspired by all my colleagues who work to not only prevent and reduce injury and violence, but also make sure youth and families thrive. It’s rewarding that I get to play a small part in supporting the community!

Share 3 fun facts about yourself:

  1. I find a lot of joy in food and community, whether it's trying a new restaurant in Philly with loved ones or sharing a homemade meal or baked goods with others. I recently made focaccia for the first time!
  2. I studied to be a professional clarinetist at Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University. After graduating, I became passionate about supporting the bright future of youth through my years working in fundraising and communications through various music education non-profits on both coasts.
  3. I enjoy traveling a lot! In 2019, I had the opportunity as one of 40 selected leaders in a global music leadership program to travel to Chile and the Philippines to work with local communities and youth.
