Staff Spotlight: Emily Turner
At Rae & Partners, we pride ourselves on the dedication and expertise of our staff members. Today, we shine a spotlight on Emily Turner. Emily is a Senior Family Lawyer with expertise across all family law services including children’s matters, property matters, post-separation financial agreements, consent orders, mediation and divorce.
Emily has been with Rae & Partners, in the Devonport office since 2010, supporting her clients in what is probably one of their most uncertain and challenging times.? Emily makes the path clearer and easier to navigate by providing straightforward, down to earth, and practical advice.?
The other aspect of her job that Emily enjoys is the mentoring and support of the other family lawyers within the Rae & Partners team, taking great pride in their careers, successes, and achievements.?
Emily has always wanted to be in law – her kindergarten teacher even reported that she would make a good lawyer someday, and we firmly agree with that!
Having practised family law exclusively since her admission in 1999, Emily is a member of the Family Law Practitioners Association (Tasmania). ?Emily originally started work in Hobart, but after a transfer to Burnie she fell in love with Tasmania’s North West Coast and put down roots in Devonport. We can safely say she hasn’t looked back since.
Throughout her career, Emily has shown her passion for her work. She is guided by her empathy and common sense, the proof being that many of her cases are resolved in mediation, sparing her clients unnecessary anxiety and expense.
