Stadia- A Gaming Platform for Everyone!

With the introduction of new game streaming services flaunting the name as #STADIA, Google has made it clear that it wants to change the traditional video gaming market . No, there's no new console or high-end gaming PC built by Google. Indeed, the search giant has launched a new streaming platform-Stadia that will allow people to play games across a variety of devices without the need for a top-of-the-line graphics and processor machine or console.

Stadia is a cloud-based gaming platform scheduled to be launched later this year, bringing

together gamers, developers, streamers, and YouTube’rs. The streaming platform announced at the Game Developers Conference is challenging the "big three" in the Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo gaming market and aims at streaming high - quality games traditionally played on video game consoles and PCs.

Stadia is a cloud streaming service that takes on traditional console makers like Sony and Microsoft, formerly known as Project Stream. The idea is to create a gaming platform from development and hosting to distribution and advertising that consolidates the entire gaming process.No wonder, It also reduces costly hardware dependency.

Former executive at Sony and Microsoft, Phil Harrison stated that “Our vision for Stadia is simple, who joined Google to work on Stadia gaming platform. “It’s focused on gamers, inspired by developers, and amplified by YouTube creators,” In addition he mentioned. “Now, there is no need to purchase separate hardware to play games on Stadia, as the only hardware currently produced for the streaming service is a Google-designed game controller. Stadia allows to experience console-quality gaming on an existing device for anyone with a Chrome browser and controller.”

There will be additional game announcements later in the year. Harrison confirmed that Google will "connect with you again in the summer to share more details about the games you will be playing at the start and beyond."

With Ubisoft and Bethesda Softworks claiming to have started already we are going to see a new level of gaming horizon where the beneficieries will be gamers , youtubers and developers.
