August brought great news for StackSpot AI: configurable AI Agents, built to redesign how AI tools are used by development teams and beyond.

Check out how our AI Agents are being used for modernization.

Still hesitant as to how GenAI can help with your modernization journey? We understand, and that's why our professional services team can help your organization through this journey. Read the article to understand everything about AI-driven modernization.?

To start practicing right now, learn how to use StackSpot AI and the Robot Framework to automate web tests to validate digital accessibility. Check out the content whichever way you prefer: watch the tutorial on YouTube or read the article on the StackSpot blog.

We are very happy to announce that StackSpot now features AI Agents! In practice, this resource works like a virtual expert who helps automate processes and improve the efficiency of the development cycle.?

We've added layers of customization for our AI Agents to ensure they are helpful in a variety of scenarios. For example, if you want to create predefined questions for a developer to interact with a Product Manager, or how to define how a Security team member might respond to specific questions.

The ability to create predefined questions and define Agent interactions as interactive or restricted to providing unique answers serves as that layer of governance over usage of AI Agents. Create organizational buy-in for adopting these new capabilities by standardizing how they are used.

And there's more! Because the functions can be customized, different types of AI Agents can be created:

  • Create Quick Commands to perform complex tasks
  • Code a story while another Agent QAs the generated code
  • Generate documentation (e.g. JIRA, Confluence)
  • And much more!

The great advantage of AI Agents is that combining them can increase speed and quality, even in complex tasks, such as using the automated code review agent.

Check out the details of AI Agents and how you can use them in the blog article.

How Test-Driven Development (TDD) and prompt engineering have improved software development

StackSpot AI focuses on unit tests as prompts for code generation, optimizes the development process, and guarantees software quality using methodologies such as Test-Driven Development (TDD). Check out the prompt and TDD tutorial.

The complexity of migrating to microservices

As you know migrating to microservices and the cloud is a process where the legacy system coexists with the new one. Companies face the challenge of having cross-functional teams that know how to work with both systems. StackSpot was built with that understanding. Watch the video with our COO, Deli Matsuo, who explains the complexity of migrating to microservices.
