Stacks Is Now Faster and More Secure

Earlier this week, the Stacks network successfully upgraded through the Nakamoto release. This means:

  • Fast transactions (confirmation in seconds instead of 10-40 minutes)
  • 100% Bitcoin finality for Stacks transactions
  • The Stacks network can no longer fork on its own separate from Bitcoin

The Nakamoto upgrade also paves the way for sBTC (expected in 4-6 weeks), which will bring a programmable, productive BTC asset to Stacks. Learn more about this ecosystem announcement, and check out fast blocks for yourself on the Stacks Explorer:
