Stabilized to Destabilized
A few days before we came across a documentary film "Breaking Boundaries" by Johan Rockstr?m (professor of environmental science). This post will be a compilation of our understandings.?#climatechange?#tipingpoint?#environment
Our earth became a habitual place before 10,000 years ago. From that time lives began to emerge. Every living creature’s flora and fauna belongs to this place, but in recent times humans are utilizing these resources extensively in the name of development to satisfy their greed.
As mentioned by Johan our earth was unstable the temperature was varying continuously. But before 10,000 years ago the temperature stabilizes called as Holocene. where the temperature varies + or - 1 degree Celsius.
What makes the earth stable?
As long as the earth is stable it will be suitable for living. These are some factors that keep the earth stable,
What is the current problem?
It takes thousands of years for the earth to reach a stable state, but in recent times within 50 years we humans destabilize the earth. Which causes a serious problem "Global warming". There are many effects but we can easily visualize the melting of ice (because it is more oblivious to see).
If this continues, we reach the tipping point- the point at which changes become irreversible.

Crossing the boundaries, we may reach the tipping point which destabilizes the earth.

What can we do?
