News: Socios creator Chillz launches sports memorabilia authentication service
Chiliz , the creators of fan token platform Socios.com , has expanded its suite of blockchain services for the sports industry with the launch of an end-to-end memorabilia authentication service. GameUsed.com will provide sports memorabilia providers with full digital authentication services. All memorabilia will be re-authenticated via embedded NFC chips, allowing fans and collectors to immediately authenticate memorabilia using their smartphones.?
News: Frontrunner secures $4.75M to create decentralised sports prediction market
According to Grand View Research, the global sports betting market is?expected?to grow to $182.12 billion in revenue by 2030, up from $76.75 billion last year. A number of startups are thriving in the market, including Frontrunner , a decentralized sports prediction market, that has just raised a $4.75M funding round. The company intends to launch ETF-style offerings that will allow users to invest in their favourite city teams, ownership groups, league divisions, and more.
