St. Charles growth...by the numbers

Interim City Manager and Assistant City Manager, Economic Development at Hazelwood, MO
On July 10th, the Economic Development Department hosted its annual Regional Investor’s Breakfast. This is a city sponsored event intended to update over 200 allies and key contacts on trends in the City of St. Charles.
This year’s “State of the City” program, gave an overview of how the department, and its partners, have impacted the local economy.
How did we do? Here are some of the numbers presented...judge for yourself:
- 0 - Number of Jobs Economic Development has created or retained
- 2,700 – Number of jobs we impacted by assisting businesses, developers, site locators, brokers and local economic development allies
- $46 Million – Total investment we impacted by assisting businesses, developers, site locators, brokers and local economic development allies
- 2,500+ - Number of business visits we achieved through business retention visits, Power Breakfast, Mayor’s Small Business Breakfast, Economic Development Commission meetings and much, much more.
Success is can be measured in many ways…for us, it is how we assisted industries, brokers and site locators find the best investment in the City of St. Charles.
The numbers speak for themselves.
