The UN’s Year of the Co-op
As the world confronts multiple complex and interconnected crises, it is no wonder that the UN has declared 2025 the Year of the Cooperative under the banner “Cooperatives build a better world.” Cooperatives offer a framework for people to come together and collectively create solutions that meet their needs. SSG’s cooperative structure empowers workers to express the breadth and depth of their skills and experiences to enable us to work towards our common goals.

Let the conferences begin!
Our Adaptation Team Lead Erik Frenette made a splash at the Ouranos Conference with consultants Sophie Lévesque and Yann Garneau . Our team presented ScenaAdaptation, the model we developed to quantify the potential social and financial impacts of extreme weather events. We’re thrilled at the continued excitement around our model as we continue to integrate climate adaptation and climate crisis mitigation plans.?
