Sr. IT Compliance Analyst, SOX404

V-Soft Consulting is currently seeking Sr. IT Compliance Analyst, Sarbanes-Oxley 404 client in Independence, Kentucky. This is a contract position in e-learning industry.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Education and Experience ?

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or related discipline
• 7 years related experience in IT compliance, internal controls, and/or internal/public audit with five (5) years in an audit or compliance management role.
• Expert in Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 as it pertains to computerized systems.
• Knowledge and experience in Governance, Risk, and Control (GRC) frameworks, approaches, tools, methodologies (i.e., COBIT, COSO, RISK IT, ISO 27K, NIST800 series, etc.)
• Experience in Access Management
• Experience in Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC), Change and Configuration Management.
• Experience with Service Now and Smartsheets

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities ?

• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) or equivalent professional certification (e.g., CRISC, CSOXP, CSOXM) highly desired.
• A self-starter and adaptable to change.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, deliverables, and stakeholders.
• Build new SOX 404 Compliance Program includes:
• Scoping of current program.
• Scope relevant controls/Identify additional Controls.
• Assess existing systems.
• Identify future systems.
• Formalize Reporting metrics/dashboards.
• Identify KPIs.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Sets and executes on the strategic direction for the SOX 404 program with the compliance tea., Ranging from planning and budgeting to motivational and promotional activities expounding the value of a SOX 404 compliance program.
• Leads the planning and design of a formal SOX 404 program based on current industry practices and auditor expectations in a public setting.
• Includes: compliance monitoring and improvement of workflow and activities to ensure compliance both with internal security policies etc. and applicable laws and regulations
• Assist in characterizing and prioritizing ITGC observations and SOX control deficiencies in a manner conducive to SOC 404 attestation programs.
• Stay abreast of leading SOX 404 practices both internally and externally and provide conduit for introducing those practices formally to Client.
• Reporting - Write succinct program status and action reports with well-defined issues, root causes and corrective actions for overall SOX and SOX-404 program development.
• Assist with development of annual internal audit, corporate compliance, and SOX plan. Including identification of 404 audit scope, conducting related risk assessment and re-assess financial materiality threshold.
• Work with business management to identify sensitive and critical data, understand organizational compliance needs, and develop procedures to accommodate those needs.
• Review risk assessments on an enterprise-wide basis and implement IT risk mitigation programs to achieve required risk tolerance levels.
