Sr. BI & Data warehouse Engineer opportunity

Masary is looking to hire Sr. BI & Data warehouse Engineer with the below requirements:

Job responsibilities:

• Supports the Data Warehouse source to target data feeds.
• Supports the ETL scripts and jobs that are built by the data management team.
• Communicates need for upgrades, outages and other key process challenges.
• Monitors all jobs and create metrics for the ETL platform which is currently Informatica
• Documents outages and execute root cause analysis on data extract and load procedures.
• Must be able to document in English proper procedures based on experience.
• Understands and analyze Product Backlog features to identify any gaps or missing information needed to perform development and testing activities
• Translates business needs to technical specifications
• Participates in high level design for the projects
• Evaluates and improve existing BI systems
• Collaborates with different teams to integrate systems
• Creates visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Conducts unit testing and troubleshooting
• Delivers and integrate the software on configuration management tools
• Performs technical reviews on software design and coding
• Follows standard team processes and guidelines and ensure process conformance
• Participates in Weekly meetings/calls with internal and external Product Owners

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from reputable university (preferably Computer science, Information Technology or Engineering).
• 3-5 years of experience.
• Experience in Data warehouse and Analytics tools.
• Experience in different BI technologies; OBIEE, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik sense.
• Develop solutions for the existing SQL Server database related to performance tuning and query optimization.
• Experience in OBIEE , Qlik infrastructure.
• Experience in installing, configuring and managing SQL Server in large-scale infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience in QlikView is a must
• Hands-on experience in QlikSense is a must
• Hands-on experience in Oracle OBIEE is a must
• Knowledge of data modelling concepts is a must, Good Knowledge of ETL concepts and one of its tools is a must
