Spyfall...

Spyfall...

Not many of you know that 18 years ago --just as the twin towers fell in New York, I was working a high tech job in New York City and found myself in the strange position of being able to help the US Government catch a spy. So, being a red-blooded, patriotic American, I stepped up and helped them (Google: Brian P. Regan for the full story; got an attaboy good citizen award from the FBI Director and everything).

Working together with two national security agencies, we stopped this traitor from selling US military secrets to Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi that would have cost numerous undercover CIA operatives around the world their lives. After I helped them identify the bastard through means I am not permitted to reveal by order of then Attorney General Janet Reno, the FBI caught him boarding a plane for the Middle East with microfilm in a hidden compartment in his shoe (Tom Clancy would be impressed as would Maxwell Smart).

The bad guy was convicted and sent to prison for life. I then left that job and started my truck permit business.

Fast forward fifteen years... the FMCSA teams up with some of my political rivals and maliciously plans an attack on my 15 year old truck permitting business. Essentially, FMCSA forwarded "fraud" complaints to a consumer protection agency that were purportedly against my business but in actuality, were complaints against an imposter company that FMCSA investigators had traced to imposters in China. Nonetheless, FMCSA asked that agency to make a civil case against me as retribution for two lawsuits I brought against FMCSA on behalf of industry as a non-profit trade group president. It was almost as elaborate of a scheme that Brian P. Regan concocted.

As the Small Business Administration is currently investigating this matter, the public smear campaign continues. With the help of some people in trucking media that are trying to help the SBTC's competitors, the Feds are now desperate to try to deceptively make you believe in 2019 that I paid money in 2018 to settle the 2016 case when court papers clearly show all parties agreed my two legal entities and I would pay ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to end the nuisance case (they did shake down a female immigrant co-defendant who paid them to go away rather than pay her expensive DC legal team the same amount or more to take the case to trial and go up against the government, which has unlimited resources. I don't blame her for making that decision after a cost-benefit analysis).

I however stood my ground and refused to pay them because the ridiculous complaint alleging "government impersonation" was nothing more than a bogus political hit job and I was never going to roll over. All along, my website contained a good faith disclaimer that said my company was a consulting firm and is not the Department of Transportation. The fact that the business is still running and the website is still up shows this was nothing more than a sham and a failed attempt to take down an industry small business activist.

This is the corruption we are up against, folks. The FMCSA does not want truckers to have a strong voice and zealous representation. They tried to take me down and failed. Now we have work to do. I am now fighting harder and am more committed then ever before. That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger.

For the past 3 years FMCSA has been hiding their misdeeds by refusing to release damning documents in response to my lawyers' 2016 Freedom of Information Act request in an attempt to conceal and cover-up their unlawful behavior that infringed upon commercial free speech. They are very worried about the truth coming out and they are as corrupt as the day is long.

So last week, as I reconciled all that has happened over the past two decades, I finally said to some of the Feds:

"BY THE WAY... YOU'RE WELCOME FOR HELPING YOU CATCH THAT SPY, YOU INGRATES!"
