So after a year or more of Samsung devices, here I am back with an LG. And not just any only LG – The LG V50 ThinQ: The 5G device.
Sprint describes this device with the following features highlighted:
? Immersive LG OLED screen that’s the perfect platform for viewing 4K movies on the go.
? 5 different lenses to capture every angle, apply artistic effects to moving footage, and then share it all in nearly an instant.
Well the LG OLED (organic light-emitting diode for those who did not know) screen is pretty amazing. But the quick lesson learned is that the 6.46 oz weight, and it’s sleek design means that it is quite slippery. And within hours, it slipped out of my hands (should have known to get a case 1st) and the screen cracked.
But, this device is made of stronger stuff…The Gorilla Glass 5 is strong. So even though I now have a small crack in my screen, it is very small and did not shatter nor will it cause me from using the LG. And now I have this case: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07PMRQHDP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1.
But even more importantly, Sprint’s repair program (Sprint Complete) has the option to have screen repaired for $29. Phew! Will be off to the store tomorrow! https://www.sprint.com/en/support/protection-and-repair-solutions.html
And once I got over the scare of the crack, I started to see how overwhelming fantastic this device is. I can’t wait to check out the other fun things. Like the Mobile Gaming, 5 Cameras, DTS: X 3D Surround & 32 BIT Hi-Fi Quad DAC, the super battery and talk time and more.
What do you want me to talk about next? Let me know! Can't wait to test it all!
