Spring to Summer Challenge: Commit to Yourself for 90 Days!

Ever feel like you're constantly on the go but not making much progress on your goals? We've all been there – we talk about our dreams, take some steps, but progress feels slow or nonexistent. We see others achieving incredible success, and it can be frustrating to feel stuck.

?

The secret to breaking through those plateaus often lies in a single action: the needle-mover.

This is one critical daily activity that significantly impacts your most important goal. It might not always be easy, but it moves the needle forward, even if your brain tries to talk you out of it!

Let's talk about some examples and see if you recognize yourself:

  • You spend a lot of time on your phone and never get to the important stuff. (Needle-mover:?Schedule focused work time in your calendar and stick to it!)
  • You want to write a book but get overwhelmed by the idea of starting. (Needle-mover:?Write just one page every day.)
  • You struggle to lose weight because healthy food prep feels like a chore. (Needle-mover:?Spend 30 minutes on Sundays prepping healthy snacks for the week.)
  • You want to lose weight and know you need to pick up a physical activity. (Needle-mover:?After a workday, go for a brisk 15-minute walk.

Here's a simple 3-step process to identify your daily needle-mover:

My 90-Day Challenge to all of us:

1.1. Focus on one area:?What area of your life do you want to see the biggest improvement in over the next 90 days? (e.g., career, health, relationships, money)

1.2. Identify the key action:?If you could do?one thing each day?that would significantly move the needle in this area, what would it be?

2. Prioritize self-care:?In this same area of focus, choose?one self-care habit?that will support your success (e.g., sleep, meditation, exercise). (Bonus! If your chosen area is health, self-care is doubly important.)

3. Accountability:

  • Internal:?Journal your plan: Write down your chosen "needle-mover" and self-care habit in your journal (check out "My Power Journal"!). Use your journal or a tracker for personal accountability.
