Archaeology Grants schemes
Together with the National Monuments Service?and Historic Environment Division NI, the Royal Irish Academy recently opened applications for the Archaeology Research Grants, Archaeological Research for World Heritage Sites and Archaeology Radiocarbon dates schemes. Decade of Centenaries bursary scheme
The RIA has opened this?scheme once again as part of the commemorative programme for the final year of the Decade of Centenaries, supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media. Documents on Irish Foreign Policy, Vol. XIII: 1965-1969?covers significant changes in the international context in which Ireland conducted its foreign policy including Ireland’s ongoing efforts to join the European Economic Community and closer to home, the beginning of the ‘Troubles’.?

Professor Dal Lago’s research looks at the comparative history of the nineteenth-century Americas and Europe - particularly the United States in the era of the American civil war and Italy in the age of Italian national unification.
