ALEXA, SKIP TO THE SPRING I know, I know - we haven’t even gotten through the holidays yet, so why are you hearing real estate agents talking about spring market already? Well, if you’re thinking about selling your house in 2022, you’re gonna want to read this post! Why? Talk to any Realtor, and she’ll tell you that the Spring Market is the Super Bowl of Real Estate. ? It’s when homes start showing up on the market again after a seasonal slowdown around the holidays. Typically, the “official” start of the Spring Market is Superbowl Sunday and ends on Memorial Day. But locally in 2021, we saw it start around early February and end around middle to end of June. And we expect the same in 2022 because rates are low, people are still working from home and we don’t quite know what’s going to happen in regards to the pandemic. Remember, real estate is typically very seasonal and based on supply/demand, but the pandemic has definitely skewed trends and has made the market harder to predict. So what does this mean for you? ??Made 12 dozen chocolate chip cookies for my son (actually me) to munch on after a crazy week.

??Opened 26 bottles of wine after a long day of negotiations.
