BBMS Updates
A lot has happened for BB Merchant Services since our last newsletter, A Year in Review, and we want to share those updates with you in our Spring Issue.
Q1 of 2024 has been an excellent one for us at BBMS. We have supported a multitude of clients with their challenges around the world and look forward to continuing this in Q2, supporting more businesses here in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Our team is busy working hard on current projects and building testimonials which we will share on our company page throughout the year, to highlight how not only we can support our clients well, but also how it is to work with us here at BBMS.
We are proud to provide a culture of caring and support, and we showcase this through our interactions with our clients.
Now let us start with a pretty big update for our first newsletter.
You might have noticed our name has changed.
This is with good reason. Over the past 6 months, our leadership team has been working on our future plans and how we can best support our clients. This included selling our Nordic banking and debt advisory business to North Risk AS in Denmark and selling our Insurance brokerage (House Of Guarantees) to Liberty Mutual in the US.
These changes have provided the opportunity for us to shift our group’s focus primarily to Merchant Services. Reducing merchant services costs for companies around the world through benchmarking and renegotiation is the core service we specialise in, and have showcased through our client successes over the last 16 years.
At the start of the year, former UK CEO Neil Fillbrook FCII was asked to take on the role of Group CEO.

We have launched in Germany!
We are excited about the prospect of working with more businesses in Germany and helping them with their merchant service costs.
If you are in our network but based in Germany, follow our new page: BB Merchant Services - Germany.
Our team looks forward to sharing industry insights and case studies relevant to this region in the coming months. As well as working with merchants on supporting savings to their merchant service costs.
BBMS extends partnership with Orchard Finance
The leadership team, Neil Fillbrook , Rutger van Overbeek , and Vincent Schreinemacher were in Amsterdam in March to expand our partnership with Orchard Finance - our partner for all things Treasury Management and Debt Advisory. This extension is for the next 10 years, we look forward to working with Orchard Finance for the foreseeable future.
