A lot has happened for BB Merchant Services since our last newsletter, A Year in Review, and we want to share those updates with you in our Spring Issue.
Q1 of 2024 has been an excellent one for us here in the US. We have supported a multitude of clients with their challenges and look forward to continuing this in Q2. Our team is collecting those testimonials in which we will share on our company page throughout the year, to highlight how not only we can support our clients well, but also how it is to work with us here at BBMS US.
We are proud to provide a culture of caring and supporting, and we showcase this through our interactions with our clients.
Now let us start with a pretty big update since you were last here.
You might have noticed our name has changed.
This is with good reason. Over the past 6 months, our leadership team have been working on our future plans and how we can best support our clients. This included selling our Nordic banking and debt advisory business to North Risk AS in Denmark and selling our Insurance brokerage (House Of Guarantees) to Liberty Mutual in the US.
These changes have provided the opportunity for us to shift our group’s focus primarily to Merchant Services – arguably the jewel in the group’s crown. Reducing merchant services costs for companies around the world through benchmarking and renegotiation is the core service we are specialized in and have showcased through our client successes over the last 16 years.
At the start of the year, former UK CEO Neil Fillbrook was asked to take on the role of Group CEO. If you missed Neil's video on the future of BBMS Globally, watch it below.

Meet the new additions to BBMS US Team
David Pilnick
David is a proven branding executive with over 30 years of experience and expertise in global branding and business development. He provides advisory services to the private equity, retail, fashion, home fashion and beauty industries.
David also held executive positions at Saks Fifth Avenue, El Puerto de Liverpool in Mexico City and Bloomingdale’s. In addition, he has been interviewed and quoted in several international publications. These including Forbes, The International New York Times, The Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal and Women’s Wear Daily.
Also, he is a frequent speaker on global branding strategies and holds an MBA from the New York Institute of Technology and a BSc from New York University.
