Spring Internship 2022- FirstParty

This Spring Semester I had a fantastic opportunity to work with FirstParty as part of an internship as a Data analyst. I was very grateful for being able to get an internship in these challenging times.

FirstParty is a startup that brings a super strong and differentiated approach to Data Monetization for businesses. The deeply experienced and proven team uses services, tools, and unique approaches to help discover and unlock unrealized value within a company's data assets. The opportunity for FirstParty to help is only growing, with clients ranging from large fortune 500s to PE Port Cos getting in the mix with their data monetization strategies. In this internship, I was introduced to the exciting and rapidly growing world of data, where I could learn and grow each day.

The Data analyst role was a great alignment with my interests and was extremely helpful in learning well about the depths of Data analytics and Demand analytics.

With FirstParty I was fortunate to work on various datasets ranging from loyalty programs, buildings, and even user experience data. I used the knowledge of Database, python and data intelligence, and visualization tools like Tableau to visualize and provide decision insights.

This spring semester was an extremely productive and fruitful semester in which I learned many new aspects of business and technology. FirstParty gave me a fantastic platform to enhance my critical thinking, strategic thinking, decision making, industry awareness, interpersonal skills, and time management skills.

I express my heartfelt thanks to my manager?Tommy Dodge?and all my fellow colleagues at FirstParty for their constant support and guidance and individual attention is given to my work amalgamated with their priceless coaching through the internship that has been a great morale booster.

It goes without saying that all this would never have been possible without the amazing Professors and friends I’ve had at UT Dallas and the knowledge they have given me. Not to forget, my extended gratitude to my Program Director?Gaurav Shekhar?and Program manager?Sivya Leventhal?and all the staff of the MS Business Analytics program at UTD for always being there to support us through and through.
