Spring House Park Beavercreek, OH
So you heard the hype and saw the Spring House Park signs in Beavercreek, OH but activity has ceased at the site.? This is Greene County’s largest park at 148 acres. It parallels Grange Hall starting at Patterson where the Jet Freeze is (for you locals) all the way up to Shakertown where Ankeney Middle School is located.
What’s going on?? Lack of funds. ?
Beavercreek’s current city parks levy can’t support it right now and a recent levy on the ballot was not approved. ? However, other funding sources are being pursued so in the meantime the parks department and volunteers have cut extensive trails through the 148 acres you can enjoy today.
Here’s the plan
3 hiking trails of various lengths from the Perimeter Loop of 2.5 miles to the Overlook Loop of 1.63 miles to the Spring House Loop at 1.5 miles.??
Once funding is secured this is going to be a special place in Beavercreek and the envy of park districts everywhere! ? Quality parks are a magnet for incoming buyers.? As a local Beavercreek Realtor I can assist in your search for the perfect home.??
