Dear people

Lively, curious, benevolent and purpose-driven - these are the key words that best describe my first weeks and impressions here at the Impact Hub Bern. It fills me with joy to work as a community and event manager at the Impact Hub and to get to know you all.

Why am I here?

Not just because it's simply great here. I was made aware of the vacancy by several contacts in my network. I already knew a bit about the hub from my time at Bern Welcome and therefore came here with certain expectations. However, these expectations were exceeded by far! Everything fell into place and now I'm sitting here, already knowing some of you, enjoying the best barista coffee and writing these lines. My friends knew me well when they estimated that I would feel at home here.

The dynamic Hub team and the contacts already made inside and outside the Hub are wonderful, and I look forward to every new encounter. Managing a community is a Hercules task. It requires not just one person, but the entire community - all of us together.

Looking forward to the Impact Skillshare Talk on May 23 and the Community Party on June 13, I wish you all the best and hope you enjoy reading the Hub Dates for May and June.

Our Board of Directors is reorganizing: Jürg Schwarzenbach , owner of Marcaro AG, has announced his resignation from the Board of Directors of Impact Hub Bern. Christoph Inauen will now follow in his footsteps. He was elected on May 2, 2024. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Jürg for his commitment and the passion with which he has driven things forward. We wish Christoph a successful start to his new challenge and look forward to working with him!
