As the VP of Land Acquisition, you will lead our efforts to identify, evaluate, and secure land for new residential developments. Your expertise in market analysis, negotiation, and strategic planning will be crucial in driving our growth initiatives and expanding our portfolio in the Orlando area and beyond.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive land acquisition strategy aligned with the company’s growth objectives.
- Identify potential land opportunities through market research, networking, and relationship building.
- Analyze market trends, zoning regulations, and environmental considerations to assess the feasibility of land acquisitions.
- Negotiate land purchase agreements and coordinate due diligence processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance, design, and construction, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Maintain strong relationships with landowners, brokers, and government officials to facilitate acquisition processes.
- Monitor and report on industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in land acquisition, real estate development, or related fields, with a proven track record in residential homebuilding.
- Strong understanding of the Orlando real estate market and regulatory environment.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
