Spring into Change

Spring into Change

I know, I know, we are literally a week or so into Spring. But this, oh boy, this is my favourite time of year.

Spring is a season of renewal, growth, and transformation.

As the world around us shakes off the weight of winter, we’re reminded that change is a natural and necessary part of life.

Just as the seasons shift, so too do our personal and professional journeys. If you’ve been feeling stuck, uninspired, or in need of a fresh perspective, spring is the perfect time to embrace new beginnings.

Call it Spring Energy

Spring is all about possibility.

The days get longer, the air feels lighter, and nature begins to bloom.

This same energy can be harnessed in our lives.

Whether you’re considering a career shift, launching a new project, or simply looking to reset your mindset, this season encourages us to step forward with renewed energy and purpose.

Winter often brings reflection and stillness. A time to reassess and plan.

But Spring is about action.

It’s the season of planting seeds, both literally and metaphorically.

??What ideas, dreams, or changes have been simmering beneath the surface?

Now is the time to bring them into the light. (Light Spark Group??? )

4 ways to create a spring mindset

If change feels overwhelming (I get that), start by aligning with the natural rhythm of the season.

1. Clear out the old: Just as we declutter our homes in a spring clean, we should also clear mental and emotional clutter. Let go of old habits, limiting beliefs, and anything that no longer serves you. Take a moment and consider: What’s been holding you back? What needs to be released to make space for the new?

2. Plant seeds for the future: Spring is about planting with the belief that growth will come. Set new intentions, start small steps towards your goals, and trust the process. Even the smallest actions like networking, learning a new skill, or journaling your ideas can set powerful change in motion. (Side note, today I am on a learning path as I step in with Barefoot Coaching Ltd undertaking their Team Coaching Training).

3. Embrace the unknown: Change can feel uncertain, but spring teaches us to trust in transformation. Trees don’t rush their blooming; they grow in their own time. Allow yourself to move through change with patience and self-compassion.

4. Nurture growth Once you’ve set your intentions, nurture them. Take daily action, surround yourself with inspiration, and seek support where needed. Just as a gardener waters their plants, we must care for our ambitions and well-being.

It's a Spring awakening?

Spring is a time of possibility. What areas of your life are ready for change? Whether it’s a career shift, a new creative endeavour, or a personal transformation, now is the time to embrace the season’s energy.

As you step into this new chapter, remember: change doesn’t happen overnight. But like the first buds of spring, it begins with small, intentional steps. So, take a breath, shake off the winter stagnation, and spring into change.

What new beginnings are calling to you this season?

Hi, I’m Lucy ?? a change strategist, coach, and storyteller with a deep fascination for how we navigate the unknown.

I’ve spent years helping people and businesses through transitions, and if there’s one thing I know for certain, it’s this: change doesn’t have to feel like a free-fall.

I am genuinely curious to how people experience change, resist it, and ultimately grow through it.

Through my work, I explore questions like:

→ How do we create the conditions for change to feel empowering, not overwhelming?

→ How can we build teams and organisations that don’t just adapt to change but thrive in it?

→ How might we lead change in a way that stays true to who we are, both as individuals and businesses?

With the right perspective, tools, and a bit of curiosity, change can be something we approach with confidence (or at least less panic).
