Spring

In a matter of days, we’ll be experiencing one of the most beautiful springs of this decade, which got off to a bad start with the presence of the coronavirus. I know I shouldn't be looking back, given the import of what's currently going on in Eastern Europe, but I don't really want to talk about it. Like you probably... So let’s move on, keeping all the victims of both catastrophes in our hearts and minds. Of course, winter is sure to be visiting us for a few days scattered here and there over the next few weeks, but at least we know for sure that spring will be here soon... very soon! Besides, my current mood is surely no stranger to what this season has on us. We’re all so affected by the lack of light caused by winter that the regular change we’re currently experiencing can only have positive effects on our way of looking at the coming months. But there’s more!

When the Spring Equinox rolls around, nature is reborn after a long period when the snow, although majestic in many ways, accompanies us day after day with the cold that pierces us almost without remission. Basically, we all have within us a springtime that dwells there, a "programmed" rebirth that goes hand in hand with the word?hope. When we’re going through difficult times, bereavement, major stress or illness, there’s a little signal that tells us not to give up, to continue to fight, to resist, because one day, a rebirth will occur. Like a spring that exists in us and that we could call?life. The awakening of nature that we’ll soon see materialize before our eyes reminds us of that inner hope that allows us to overcome difficulties, to hold on, knowing or hoping that better days will inevitably come again if we keep fighting. Spring therefore becomes both a reality and an emblem of the human spirit that inhabits us.

Spring is, for the majority of us, the opportunity to move, to resume morning walks where serenity accompanies this wonderful feeling of being master of our time, of having all the time we want to appreciate the moment. Spring encourages us to leave our homes, to reach out to others, to expand our social cocoon. Even if current technology allows us to know more people from all countries, from all walks of life, it simply can’t meet our need to communicate with our fellow human beings, to share our feelings other than through emoticons and ready-made formulas. Spring is all about being in a good mood and that's the feeling I have today, notwithstanding the headlines reflecting the sometimes sad reality of our world.

Walking hand in hand with the Spring Equinox, we can’t forget Saint Patrick’s Day, which precedes it by a few days. As we celebrate and honour the history and life of Saint Patrick, we also know it as a day of luck and any opportunities that may arise from our belief in it. And what’s the ultimate symbol of luck associated with this day? The four-leaf clover, of course! With this symbol in hand, you can magnetize yourself to attract luck and make the most of any resulting opportunities. So, good luck to you.

With that, I wish you the luckiest, most wonderfully awe-inspiring week of your life.
